Hello!
Here is an Outfit post for you all! It is finally becoming a bit chillier, and I rejoice in the fact that I can now begins to layer and wear more patterns and long skirts and tights and such. Along with the exciting crisp-ness comes a whole new wave of inspiration, and so I will soon be posting pictures of my bedroom walls which are once again exciting-ly covered with new pictures and quotes.
Additionally, I have just joined the ranks of the Lovely Ladies over at The Dressing Room Door, and so I would like to encourage you to head over there, comment on the lovely posts, and marvel at how similar this post is to the post I just posted over there. ;)
I will need to figure out exactly which posts I post where. We will see, children.
I wore this to my one day of "outside" co-op school, and just added the heels when I went to a casual-ish gallery opening for my father.

I got this skirt at ARC Thrift store, and it's homemade!
I really liked the bright color and pattern, but the cut wasn't too flattering, so I pinned it up in the front like that, creating a "mullet-dress". Just kidding that's a horrible thing to be compared to.
Though you cannot see it very well, there are little veins of yellow and red in the skirt, and I thought this green best complimented it. I had a darker, Kelly green scarf on earlier in the morning when it was chilly, and you can see it there in the second picture on my purse. It added a bit more balance to the outfit, being darker.
And the shoes. I love these shoes. I wear them with everything that requires a heel. Pretty much. They're a great color and shape that hasn't really gone in or out of style, so it's pretty easy to add to any and every outfit.
So there you go!
Happy Fall-ing ;)

4 notes:
Lillian, Lillian, Lillian...you are so cute. My sister said she stalked your pictures the other day. Which just proves your cuteness :) She doesn't stalk just anyone (only people who are kind of weird or people who are kind of adorable...I think you fall into the latter category)
Maddie, Maddie, Maddie, back atcha. :) I think I fall into the "kind of weird" category ;) or "very weird" category, thanks so much though. haha
LOVE the shoes! Fun pop of color, especially for Fall:-) xoxo
Thank you! :) I just lovee these shoes.
